The USB serial converter (USB to RS422/485) allows you to add a serial interface to embedded systems by Syslogic or third parties. The serial interface is made available either via a 10-pin Weidmuller connector or in accordance with the DSUB-9 industry standard. Much like with its embedded PCs, Syslogic meets high industry standards when it comes to expansion cards. The USB serial converters are equipped with an on-board switch. This enables switching between RS422 and RS485 and the establishment of a half-duplex or full-duplex connection.
