The AI Inference Computer RML A3 is an extended version of the AI Vehicle Computer RSL A3. It has four PoE-Gbit (Power over Ethernet) ports. This allows four sensors, such as GigE Vision cameras or IP cameras, to be connected without requiring their own power supply. The PoE ports can be had as either as x-coded M12 or standard RJ45 connectors. Digital I/Os, analog inputs, CAN or RS-232/422/485 interfaces can also be added.

The AI Inference Computer RSL A3 is suited for automotive applications and has an integrated power supply with a DC input voltage range of 9V ... 45V. This allows the Embedded Box PC to be connected directly to a vehicle power supply. With the UNECE-R10 type approval (E-Mark) the AI computer is approved for road vehicles. Typical applications are intelligent driver assistance systems (ADAS), semi-autonomous driving, control of autonomous machines and robots, traffic monitoring, object recognition such as vehicle or license plate recognition.
