The SD cards from the Cactus Technologies 245S series utilize the pSLC (Pseudo-Single-Level Cell) technology. This allows them to reach 20,000 write and read cycles, i.e. six times higher endurance than similar MLC (Multi-Level Cell) products. In pSLC systems, each flash cell only stores one bit instead of the usual two bits. As a result, the SD cards operate in SLC (Single-Level Cell) mode, ensuring a long service life (high write endurance).

In addition to their superior write endurance, the pSLC storage units boast great resistance to shock and vibration (MIL-810), functional reliability and high value for money. The pSLC SD cards are available with storage capacities of 4–64 GB.
