The Cactus Technologies 240 Series CFast flash memory cards impress thanks to their SATA II interface with a reading speed of 300 megabytes per second and a writing speed of 200 megabytes per second. The SSD (Solid State Drive) memories of the Cactus 240 Series combine the fast reading and writing speeds of SATA II flash memories with the compact dimensions of a PATA CF card (36.4 x 42.8 mm).
The flash memory cards in the CFast form factor from the Cactus 240 Series impress with their robustness, durability and an attractive price-performance ratio. The CFast cards are based on an MLC (Multi Level Cell) flash. Thanks to clever firmware with integrated write abort handling and error correction code, the SSD (Solid State Drive) memories achieve high write and read cycles (write endurance).
Like all flash memories of Cactus Technologies, the CFast cards from the 240 Serie are insensitive to shock and vibration. This makes them suitable for industrial automation or medical or railway applications.
